Color-Safe Shampoo Bar that actually lathers. Hallelujah.

I try ’em all so you don’t have to! I wish someone did this when I first embarked on this plastic-free journey, so I’m here to do it for you! I found plastic-free color-safe shampoo and conditioner bars. Why plastic free? Glad you asked. Over 40% of plastic comes from product packaging and 80 billion plastic bottles disposed of around the world each year are from shampoo & conditioner alone. So, I scanned Amazon and found a color-safe shampoo bar by HIBAR that actually gets sudsy (read: works up a lather). I’m very picky with shampoos, due to having a super sensitive scalp, and this one is so so good. So far no irritation, my newly highlighted hair color looks great, its soapy, and my hair (which I normally air dry) looks fantastic. I would highly recommend this regardless of whether or not it were in a plastic bottle. But it just happens to NOT be in a plastic bottle! It’s a bar of soap! No plastic packaging and shipped entirely in eco-friendly packaging. Not only does my hair look good, but I feel like a superhero who’s saving the planet too! Win win. 😄😄
